Ridgewood NJ, Hans Lehmann is no longer the chairman or a member of the Board of Adjustment.
Hans-Jurgen Lehmann, Chairman term was set to expire on June 30,2019 . Lehmann caused quite a stir during the last council election for for being at the center of a controversial hate filled and bigoted flier sent out in support of candidate Harwin.
Concerns were raised beyond the hate filled nature of the flier that in his position as Chair of the Board of Adjustment , Lehmann’s remarks could open the door to a flood of lawsuits against the Village.

Oh man, what a relief that this insane person is no longer on the Zoning Board. Now his horrible wife is off of the Community Relations Advisory Board and he is off the BOA….great news. They can sit in their house with the “Hate Has No Home Here” sign on the front lawn and they can write hate-filled treatises about everyone. What a duo.

I’d like to think he had an ounce of integrity left and he left on his own accord. How could he not have heard and heeded all those who were offended by his diatribe? Even if he began by thinking there was nothing repugnant in what he was saying, once enough people raised the issue in so many ways and forums, he should have seen the pain he was causing others. And even if he and his cronies were “at peace” with themselves wth what they had said, they should have offered an apology because others were troubled by what he said.

James you should post every libelous hate mailer sent, every disgusting hateful email, website and video of the attacks against the mayor during council meetings. Landslide victory even with the lies and hate.

People keep saying landslide victory. I really don’t think 60/40 is a landslide, it’s a good majority.
40% is a sizable amount of people who voted for Harwin/Willett’s campaign of no idea’s, lies and hate mail.
That is a significant amount of people unhappy enough with the status quo to vote for anyone but Knudson.
Susan and Mike should have had 80% of the vote, it was that clear who the better team was. Now that would have been a landslide.

Is it true that Jan Phillips is posting some pretty nasty cartoon characterizations of residents she hates on her Facebook page? Those targeted reportedly include: Laurie Bender, Susan Knudsen, and Steve Kim. Hate has no home here.

8.16am. I agree. If 40% voted for that garbage it means that Knudsen/Sedon are not doing a great job. It’s a pity. And I will repeat for the 100th time. People are not looking for the VC to invent the wheel but for doing the minimal things to keep quality of life at a certain level. PAVE THE STREETS, our cars are beat up and it is hurting our pockets.
