Lodi NJ, a 37-year-old Lodi man was tragically killed late Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle while standing outside his car on Route 46 West, according to Lodi Police Chief Donald Scorzetti.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Lodi
The incident occurred around 11 p.m., when Lodi police responded to a collision on Route 46 West. Upon arrival, officers determined that Adam Niesterowicz, of Lodi, had been standing outside his 2015 Lexus when he was hit by a 2023 Toyota traveling westbound.
Sadly, Niesterowicz was pronounced dead at the scene.
Injuries & Investigation Ongoing
The driver and passenger of the Toyota sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities are still investigating the circumstances of the crash, and as of Monday morning, no charges had been filed.
