It is now available to a group of trusted testers and will be released more widely in the coming weeks. Bard will draw on information from the web to provide high-quality responses.
Meanwhile Microsoft will hold a major news event today. It officially announced the event minutes after Google made its ChatGPT rival official. The event will start at 1 PM ET. It is likely that the event will focus on ChatGPT integration into Bing. Google will hold an event about search and AI on February 8.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella will “share some progress on a few exciting projects,” so expect a number of important announcements. The invite comes just days after Microsoft extended its OpenAI partnership in a $10 billion deal that will see it become the exclusive cloud partner for OpenAI. Microsoft’s cloud services will power all OpenAI workloads across products, API services, and research.
