Glen Rock NJ, on March 17th at 4:03 PM, Glen Rock Police  Patrols, along with EMS, were dispatched to the intersection of Ackerman Avenue and Maple Avenue following a four-car motor vehicle accident. Two of the drivers and a child were transported to Valley Hospital for further medical evaluation by EMT’S from the Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Three of the vehicles were rendered inoperable in the crash and were towed from the scene.  Ackerman Avenue remained closed until just prior to 5:00 pm.

Investigation determined that a 2018 Jeep, operated by a 62-year-old Midland Park woman, was driving on Ackerman Avenue, approaching Maple Avenue, when she struck a vehicle stopped in traffic for a red light.  The impact caused a chain reaction collision, involving two additional vehicles which were also stopped for the red light.
