Hasbrouck Heights NJ, MikeWorldWide, renowned for its top-notch service as one of the leading public relations agencies in the state and recognized for the prominent sign on its Route 3 building, revealed on Wednesday that it will be relocating from its long-standing headquarters.

However, there’s no need for concern, as the firm is not moving far. By the end of the month, MWW intends to settle into a new building at 500 Route 17 S. in Hasbrouck Heights, situated near Route 46 and Interstate 80, a location deemed more suitable for today’s workplace.

This move reflects a familiar commercial real estate narrative where companies find that their spatial requirements have evolved over the years, a trend observed throughout the state.

MWW officials explained that, despite initially exploring alternative spaces in a building that has been its home for over three decades, they were unable to reach an agreement with the landlord. CEO Michael Kempner, who founded MikeWorldWide in 1986, emphasized the company’s commitment to the region and its clients as the driving force behind the decision.

Following an extensive months-long search across the state, the agency opted to keep its main office in the Meadowlands due to the region’s proximity to New Jersey’s economic and population centers, as well as its robust transportation network. Kempner highlighted that this strategic location ensures MWW’s accessibility to all directions—north, south, east, and west.

“While we continue to grow as a firm and extend our national and global reach, we will never forget our roots nor waver in our commitment to New Jersey, where I founded this company more than 35 years ago,” Kempner stated. “Our new office keeps MWW at the center of the action in New Jersey and the greater metropolitan area, allowing us to further enhance our client services and attract new talent.”

Bill Murray, the firm’s national director for public affairs, emphasized that the Hasbrouck Heights location enables MWW to uphold its high standard of client service while providing employees with increased flexibility and collaboration opportunities. He noted the changing dynamics of the workforce, valuing work-life balance and technology-driven connections over shared office spaces.

Murray stated, “Our new Hasbrouck Heights location gives us what we need to support our employees and deliver for our clients.”

Meadowlands Chamber CEO Jim Kirkos expressed his delight that the company would remain in the area, emphasizing the importance of keeping MWW’s influential brand visible. Kirkos highlighted MWW’s longstanding membership and the invaluable expertise and guidance it has provided to the Meadowlands Chamber.

With over 225 employees, MWW operates at the intersection of consumer brand marketing, technology, and corporate reputation. In addition to its new Hasbrouck Heights location, the firm has a second New Jersey office in Trenton and additional offices in New York, Washington, D.C., Denver, Los Angeles, and London.
