Ridgewood NJ, according to Village Manager Keith Kazmark , Phase 3 of the street revitalization Project will begin this Fall . The Village of Ridgewood will be relacing trees in the wells along Oak, Chestnut ,Walnut streets and Franklin Avenue in the Central Business District . The trees were chosen specifically to thrive in Ridgewood’s downtown , provide more shade in the summer , better air quality and create a more beautiful downtown.

How about replacing the tree lamps on the west side of the CBD, there’s quite a few missing. Or how about replacing the damaged bricks at the train station on the west side Betancourt read into it about two years ago still with the same traffic cone in front of it. Don’t understand why it takes so long to get things repaired.
Here’s my suggestion – go to Home Hardware in Waldwick and buy a can or orange spray paint.
Next time you go by something that’s in need of repair, or a safety hazard, paint a big circle around the area.
The bricks may eventually get fixed but in the interim you will have helped your fellow citizens by pointing out a dangerous spot on the walk.
Your “suggestion” is a quick way to get a charge for vandalism, regardless of your intention to be “helpful”.
I can’t help it…I motivate people.
I’ve waited 5 years for the town to replace the tree in front of my house.
What’s the deal with the old town garage. Does the village on it? If so, let’s make a move on it and knock it down already. What are disgrace. It’s not like someone’s going to rebuild that building it’s shot.
