Waldwick NJ, on Wednesday April 3rd at approximately 05:30 the Waldwick, NJ Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched for a single vehicle MVC with the vehicle off the roadway and down the embankment.
Crews went to work immediately to try and free the heavily entrapped driver. After fighting the elements, the mud on the slope, and a heavy damaged vehicle, our firefighters were able to free the occupant. An extremely difficult operation by the crews of Rescue 642 and Squad 633.
The driver was hospitalized with injuries that didn’t initially appear life-threatening. CityWide Towing removed the vehicle.
That is a strange area….Waldwick trick.
