Saddle Brook NJ, New jersey State Police report a motor vehicle stop leads to seizure of handguns, hollow point ammunition and drugs.
The New Jersey State Police have arrested James Fogel, 33, of Corona, N.Y., Benjamin Martinez, 21, of Yonkers, N.Y., and Shanel Torres, 28, of Flushing, N.Y. after a motor vehicle stop leads to the seizure of drugs and handguns.
On, Monday, March 18, at 9:43 p.m., Troopers from Totowa Station stopped James Fogle for a motor vehicle violation on Interstate 80 in Saddle Brook. Upon further investigation, Troopers discovered two handguns, a high capacity 30 round magazine, hollow point ammunition and marijuana in the vehicle.
James Fogle, Benjamin Martinez, and Shanel Torres were charged with possession of a handgun, possession of high capacity magazine, posession of hollow point bullets, receiving stolen property, and money laundering. The suspects were lodged at Bergen County Jail pending by a detention hearing.
Charges are mere accusations and the accused is innocent until proven guilty.
