Ridgewood NJ, Distrust of public health officials may be a major factor in people refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Nearly a third of Americans believe officials are lying about vaccine safety, a number that rises to almost two-thirds among those who say they don’t intend to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 32% of American Adults believe public health officials are lying about the safety of COVID-19 vaccines. Forty-eight percent (48%) don’t think so, while 20% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Wanted to do the right thing. What a mistake.
Most of Americans know govt is underplaying side effects. 1/3 figure is fake nuz. Everyone I know knows it. Even most liberal or scared types. They still get vaccinated because the odds of a side effect are perceived as likely as complications from Covid… but with the advantage of you not getting others sick. It’s a social sacrifice.
I think I would have rather taken my chances getting Covid. I got the maderna shots. I have hurt ever since. Every joint and muscle in my body hurts. I have arthritis and it’s like it has attacked it. It’s been debilitating. The worst part doctors don’t know what they are dealing with.
