  1. Another glaring example of how the government operated. I counted no fewer than 20 departments copied on each of those memos. This ‘discussion’ has been going on for well over a year. To what end?

Put two large and prominent signboard on both sides saying “No trucks, vans or buses. Light motor vehicles only. $1000 penalty for violators’ and get done with it!!

  2. agree with 11:20 – however that makes too much common sense…
    .
Instead we will either get a multi-million dollar multi-year project
    OR
a closure of the crossing to penalize the residents and add some more inconvenience to our lives (not to mention also losing another piece of old time charm)

  3. make it a one way. end of the story. no truck’s or bus’s

  4. Dangerous. Why not make it pedestrian?

  5. yes that would be great .

  6. When they hiked parking permit fees for Ridgewood train station (and cut spots), defenders of the indefensible said – go park in Hohokus.

Now if that road gets shut down, what do we do?
