Secaucus NJ, on Thursday 12/30/2021, NJTPD Lieutenant Fallon and Officer Tevnan were on foot patrol at Secaucus Junction Station. The officers were actively scanning traveling crowds to identify suspicious behavior or any potential threats. They noticed a young juvenile passing through the station and determined he was traveling alone.
They approached him to check on his well-being. Although the juvenile provided minimal information, the officers were able to investigate further. They reached out to multiple agencies including the NYPD and Child Services. In turn, they acquired a phone number for the juvenile’s mother.
Upon calling the mother, she stated that the child had runaway and NYPD Detectives were currently in her home taking a missing persons report! Officer Tevnan spoke to the detective and advised that the child was safe with NJTPD. Soon thereafter, mother and child were reunited.
That reminds me…have they found the Tree Guy yet…?
If not, has the council decided upon a replacement…?
