Ridgewood NJ, From the village manager to the village engineer, the failure we are paying salaries to at village hall is best represented by what should be our new village logo; that horrible orange barrel that has been in Garber Sq for over a year.
Oh the horror!
The orange barrel!
Good god how could something like this happen?
This would never happen in the Hamptons!
What will my visiting guests think?

Bollards In more ways than one
Looked very mayberry Rfd with the pen lites no one could see
Village? Duh. This ain’t no village. It is a town headed toward heavy urbanization. At the moment it is a MESS and will continue to be so for years. Except for a heavy economic recession nothing else will stop the bulldozers and crains from destroying that “village”.
I agree – this is not a “Village” Its more like a city. When I think of village, I think quiet, quaint, peaceful to name a few
As a long time village resident our village roads look terrible. They are filthy. We had a few minor snow events this year very warm weather conditions . And why isn’t the village sweeping The town. We never seen the roads this filthy what is going on. Do we still have a sweeping program, Because it sure doesn’t look it. Neighboring town Roads are cleaner.
The roads are clean in Midland Park.
“Crains” destroying the village. No. Blind sheep voters electing uninformed voting block candidates are destroying the village. And it’s about to happen again.
When is the new election.
Never mind sweep the damn roads already. There’s no reason why the sweepers can’t be out seven days a week. We have enough money in the budget.
Maybe we can get a sweeper on the other side of the highway a few times this year instead of just once like last year. I live At the W. Saddle River Rd. section of town. The sweeper came by once.
Well one good thing about not sweeping the roads. All that debris is winding up inside the pothole ‘s .
Dirty dirty dirty
