  1. I really enjoyed Ben Greenwood’s review of Make Rusia Great Again in the July 5 NYT Book Review. It inspired this poem:

    DELIVERANCE BY IRREVERENCE

The people who trash all the Never Trumpers,
in contrast with them, being Ever Trumpers,
do this since he delivered them deliverance
from Hillary by sailing down Irriverence,
he river that’s so wild it never has been tamed,
and so irriverent it never feels ashamed.
It is a river that is fed by all the streams
of Trump’s unconsciousness, as well as Putin’s dreams,
To him the Ever Trumpers are conciliatory
because he is of the most hated Hillary tree
the poisoned fruit, just like apple that Snow White
once ate and slept for years, her days all turned to night.
Some consider Trump to be nefarious,
but actually he merely is hilarious.
