Express Bus Service from New York
The new 355 bus route provides express service from Port Authority Bus Terminal to American Dream. Express service begins on American Dream’s opening day, October 25 and will operate every 30 minutes.
Express Bus and Connecting Train Service from Secaucus Junction
- The new 356 bus route provides express service from Secaucus Junction to American Dream, conveniently connecting to multiple bus routes and train lines that serve Secaucus Junction.
- Take a train to Secaucus Junction via the Main-Bergen County Line, Montclair-Boonton Line, Morris & Essex Line, Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line, Pascack Valley Line, and Port Jervis Line. When you arrive, transfer to the 356 for American Dream.
- Travel to Secaucus Junction by the following local bus routes currently serving Secaucus Junction and transfer to the 356 for American Dream.
- The 2 bus route from Journal Square
- The 78 bus route from Newark
- The 124 & 129 bus routes from Port Authority Bus Terminal
- The 329 bus route from Harmon Cove
Express service begins on American Dream’s opening day, October 25 and will operate every 30 minutes.
Local Bus Service
Three local bus routes will expand their operating hours and serve American Dream: the 85 from Hoboken/Union City to Secaucus, 703 from Paterson/Passaic, and 772 from Hackensack. Additionally, the 772 bus route will be expanding to include Saturday and Sunday service. Buses on these routes will stop at the Meadowlands Racetrack near American Dream. Once construction is complete and American Dream opens for customers in October, buses will stop directly at American Dream.
Expanded local bus service begins Saturday, August 31.
Boarding Buses at Secaucus Junction
Bus service is located at street level in the bus plaza. Strategically placed signage throughout Secaucus Junction guides you to buses. On some occasions, buses may depart along Laurel Hill Drive North for service to events at Meadowlands. In these instances, you will see special signage and/or NJ TRANSIT ambassadors throughout Secaucus Junction directing you to this location.

Travel tips
- The NJ TRANSIT Mobile App offers the most convenient way to purchase your ticket or pass. Use MyTix, a feature of the app, to buy and display most tickets or passes on your mobile device.
- If you are taking the bus, purchase tickets from Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) at major bus terminals or you may pay the fare on the bus. Most local buses require exact change in coins or $1 bills.
- Traveling by train? Purchase tickets prior to boarding the train. A $5 surcharge applies to tickets purchased onboard if you board at a station where ticket vending machines or ticket agents are available.
- If traveling from New York Port Authority Bus Terminal, you must purchase your ticket before boarding.
