Ramsey NJ, authorities are conducting an investigation following a fatality involving a person struck by an NJ Transit train in Ramsey on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 9:40 a.m., involving Main Line Train 1109, which had departed from Hoboken at 8:35 a.m. and was en route to Suffern, New York.
NJ Transit Senior Public Information Officer Kyalo Mulumba reported that there were no injuries to the 20 customers and crew members on board. While train service on the Main and Bergen County lines was temporarily halted in both directions, it resumed by 11 a.m. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed. NJ Transit police are leading the investigation, and Main, Bergen County, and Port Jervis rail services were experiencing delays of up to 45 minutes due to the incident.

I wouldn’t be surprised, how many times that happen right here in Hohokus, commuters running across the tracks. That’s why they had to put up fences because people are stupid.
