Juvenile Charged in Closter Tesla Crash That Left Three Seriously Injured

Closter NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of a Bergen County JUVENILE on a charge of assault by auto. The arrest is the result of a joint investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Closter Police Department under the direction of Chief John McTigue.

Closter Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Corps Extremely Busy Night

Closter NJ, while many were sleeping, Closter Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Corps (CVARC) had an extremely busy night. At midnight, CVARC was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Demarest Avenue for a vehicle on its side. When the Closter Police arrived on scene, they discovered there were 5 occupants in the vehicle. Upon hearing this report, CVARC officer 733, requested a second ambulance to the scene. The crews of Ambulance 726 and 727 evaluated all the parties and 727 transported one patient to Valley Hospital.

Two Victims Evacuated From Closter Crash by Helicopter to Hackensack University Medical Center

Closter NJ, this morning Closter Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Corps Rescue 728, ambulances 726 & 727 responded to the scene of a horrific crash at High Street & Closter Dock Road. Both occupants of the minivan were expertly extricated, then transported to Memorial and Tenakill Fields where helicopter landing zones had been set up. Both patients were flown to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. On scene ; Closter Police, Closter Fire Department,  Alpine Fire , Demarest, Fire  Harrington Park Fire , and Norwood Fire Depts, ALS 106, and the flight medics.
