Chinese Caught Selling Faulty Medical Equipment Overseas

Ridgewood NJ, New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness is reporting that according to open source reporting, Chinese efforts to shift blame for the COVID-19 pandemic and gain favorable influence from countries impacted by the disease include manufacturers selling substandard medical equipment. While Chinese authorities have stated they contained the disease in their country, they are also engaged in a public relations campaign to bolster their image by claiming China is the only government providing equipment to vulnerable countries such as the Netherlands, Spain, and Turkey.

Jersey City NJ, according Jersey City Mayor Steven M. Fulop announcing  the first steps to confront the $70 million budget impact COVID-19 will have on the municipal budget of Jersey City.

The city will offer a voluntary separation package for those who have 15 years or more of service with the city. There are currently over 400 employees eligible for the voluntary package with a combined total salary of $22.7 million. Applicants will receive $20,000 or 25% of their salary, whichever is greater. Applicants must respond by April 20th and date of separation will be May 1st.

So one questions ,where is the tax money going to come from if nobody is working?

Governor Murphy Announces Postponement of June 2nd Primary Elections until July 7th

Ridgewood NJ,  Governor Phil Murphy today signed Executive Order No. 120, postponing primary elections on Tuesday, June 2nd to Tuesday, July 7th in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This includes primaries for President, the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, the 25th District of the New Jersey Legislature, and county and municipal elections, as well as county committee elections. Last month, Governor Murphy issued Executive Order No. 105, which delayed certain elections set to take place in March and April until May 12th.

Three Arrested Attempting to Withdraw Cash with Fraudulent Id and a Credit Card from Ridgewood Bank

Ridgewood NJ, according to the Ridgewood Police on March 31, police officers were sent to 536 North Maple Avenue after theft and fraud was reported at TD Bank. Bank employees told police three people had used fraudulent identification and a credit card to access someone else’s bank account. The person tried to withdraw money from the account. Three people were arrested and taken to Ridgewood Police headquarters.

Ridgewood Women Charged With Making False Medical Emergency Reports

Ridgewood NJ, according to the Ridgewood Police department  on April 5, a 56-year-old woman from Ridgewood made two false claims of a medical emergency by calling 911 10 times. Police found the woman was making false medical emergency reports, and she was served with special complaints summonses for making false public alarms. She was released after being served with a pending court date.

NJOHSP : China Underreporting Thousands Of COVID-19 Deaths

Ridgewood NJ, Over the last week, open source reporting indicates that China has severely underreported official COVID-19 deaths across the country amid the lifting of a two-month lockdown of an estimated 50 million people. In Wuhan alone, the epicenter of the outbreak, the disease has killed 42,000 people, more than 10 times the national figure reported, according to foreign open source reporting. The numbers are vastly different than originally reported by the Chinese government.
