Ridgewood NJ, Page one of Critical Race Theory: An Introduction places the reader into an elementary school classroom where they are asked to observe the following scene: “A child raises her hand repeatedly in a fourth-grade class; the teacher either recognizes her or does not” (1). Richard Delgado and Jean Stefancic, the authors, then ask the reader to imagine receiving messages from others as a white person: “are you annoyed? Do you, even for a moment, think that maybe you are receiving this treatment because of your race? Or might you think that all these people are merely having a bad day? Ridgewood NJ, last October, the Biden Justice Department ordered the FBI to stop alleged “threats and acts of violence” against school officials who were the largest of frustrated parents. The move was prompted by a letter from the National School Board Association to Justice claiming that parents who object to mask mandates and the imposition of critical race theory were engaging in “a form of domestic terrorism.”

Ridgewood NJ, Critical Race Theory asserts that racism is “systemic” and therefore part and parcel of our everyday life, that the U.S. was founded upon racist structures such as slavery, and its institutions must be dismantled so we can fight inequality and inequity. Ridgewood NJ, the revolt by parents over Critical Race Theory being taught in schools is now nationwide. It is also so universally unpopular that it threatens to reverse the gains that Democrats made with independent voters last year.  A headline in Politico sums it up:  “Moderate and suburban voters share concerns about education changes and say national Democrats dismiss their arguments.”
