Trenton NJ,  at his final COVID-19 press briefing, Governor Phil Murphy announced the signing of Executive Order No. 292, which lifts the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency in addition to the statewide school and daycare mask mandate, effective on Monday, March 7. This major step has been made possible by the Murphy Administration’s comprehensive and pandemic response efforts.

Governor Murphy Must Follow CDC Guidelines, End Mask & Distancing Guidelines or Admit He Doesn’t Believe Vaccines Work

Gyms and Indoor Amusement and Water Parks to Reopen Effective Tuesday, September 1

Trenton NJ,  Governor Phil Murphy signed Executive Order No. 181, which permits gyms and health clubs, as well as amusement and water parks, to reopen their indoor premises to the public on Tuesday, September 1 at 6:00 a.m., provided these facilities comply with the health and safety standards issued by the Department of Health.
“Gyms are among the most-challenging indoor environments to prevent the transmission of COVID-19,” said Governor Murphy. “Given where we are in this fight and the overwhelming personal responsibility demonstrated by gym owners and gym members over the past several months, we can confidently take this important step on our road back.”

You Can Finally Visit Loved Ones at Nursing Homes in New Jersey

Paramus NJ, Statewide, almost 12,000 people have died, and long-term care patients may account for as many as 6,000.  While the Murphy Administration was cracking down on golfers and joggers , they were sending COVID-19 positive patients into nursing homes .

Finally residents of long-term care facilities will be able to have outdoor visits with loved ones in designated outdoor space starting Sunday, June 21—Father’s Day– under a directive to long-term care facilities issued today by the state Department of Health.

New Jersey Department of Health Testing Finds Individual Negative for Novel Coronavirus

Trenton NJ, Test results have come back negative for the person in New Jersey who was under investigation for novel coronavirus.

There are no other persons in New Jersey who are currently approved and awaiting testing for the virus that causes COVID-19.
