The East Rutherford Fire Department (ERFD) demonstrated rapid and effective firefighting skills this evening, quickly containing a residential structure fire and ensuring the safety of all occupants.

At approximately 5:00 PM, ERFD was dispatched to a report of a house fire on Rose Street with the initial possibility of residents being trapped inside. Fortunately, upon arrival, crews confirmed the best possible news: all occupants had safely evacuated the building before the department’s arrival.

Quick action by a watchful neighbor and the rapid deployment of local emergency services ensured that a house in the 1600 block of Everett Terrace sustained only minor damage, with zero injuries reported.

Massive House Fire in Prospect Park Engulfs Three Homes, Multiple Fire Departments Respond

Prospect Park NJ, a large house fire broke out in Prospect Park on Wednesday afternoon, prompting a multi-agency emergency response. The Prospect Park Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 3:33 PM to a possible house fire near North 11th Street and Fairview Avenue. Upon arrival, the Chief of Department confirmed a working fire at 265 North 11th Street, with flames rapidly spreading to neighboring homes at 263 and 267 North 11th Street.
