Ridgewood NJ,  NJ TRANSIT is recognizing the birth of our nation with “early getaway” rail and bus service beginning on Friday, June 30th to help customers start the celebration early.

Important Notice: Main, Bergen County and Port Jervis rail service is subject to up to 15-minute delays in both directions due to signal issues near Ridgewood.

West Trenton NJ, the New Jersey State Police would like everyone to enjoy their holiday weekend as the State continues to open after the COVID-19 pandemic. With residents celebrating Independence Day for the first time in two years, we understand that everyone wants to reconnect with family and friends whether at a barbecue, driving to the Jersey Shore, or spending time on the water. New Jersey State Police to Increase Patrols Statewide July 4th Weekend

West Trenton NJ, Independence Day 2020 has arrived, and although we will be celebrating differently this year by wearing face coverings and social distancing, we expect our roadways to experience increased traffic as a result of motorists traveling to New Jersey’s beaches, state parks, lakes and other tourists attractions as they always do during this holiday weekend. We know our citizens have done a great job flattening the curve through social distancing, and now we are asking motorists to help us flatten the crash curve by driving defensively, obeying speed limits, and by not getting behind the wheel while under the influence.
