Tractor-Trailer Fire Shuts Down Lanes on Route 287 in Mahwah

Mahwah NJ, a tractor-trailer fire on Route 287 Northbound in Mahwah caused major delays during Wednesday morning’s rush hour, closing lanes and backing up traffic for miles.

Mahwah Garage Fire Out Before it Spread to the Home

Mahwah NJ, on July 6th  at 7:53pm all Mahwah Fire Department Companies were dispatched to a structure fire in town on Sherwood Avenue. Upon arrival the garage was fully engulfed. Crews worked fast to extinguish the fire and prevent extension to the home. No injuries reported.

No Injuries Reported at Upper Saddle River Fire

Upper Saddle River NJ, on Thursday the Upper Saddle River Fire Department was requested to a home within the borough for a reported structure fire. First arriving units from Upper Saddle River Police reported they had smoke showing from the structure and Asst. Chief 1240 requested the second alarm be struck bringing in additional apparatus and man power to the scene. The fire was placed under control shortly after arrival of  Upper Saddle River Fire Department apparatus and there were no injuries.
