Ridgewood Art Institute Showcases Top Talent in Portrait and Self-Portrait Exhibition

The Ridgewood Art Institute (RAI) is currently hosting its annual Portrait and Self-Portrait Show, an exhibition that features a wide range of mediums and subjects—including the popular category of pet portraits.

The show, which runs through September 28, 2025, is a highlight for the community, offering a glimpse into the incredible talent of artists who study and work at the institute. The exhibition is housed in RAI’s beautiful galleries, which are open to the public during select hours.

Allendale Unveils New Community Mural, Blending History with Local Art

Allendale NJ, the borough of Allendale, New Jersey, officially unveiled its new Centennial Mural on September 20, marking the culmination of a multi-year, community-wide effort to honor its history. The vibrant new mural, located at 89 West Allendale Avenue, replaces a beloved 1994 mural that had faded over time.
