Newark NJ, on Sunday, 3/14/21, New Jersey Transit Police Officers Martinez, Pena-Perez, Ydo, and Mastrofilipo were on patrol at Newark Penn Station. The officers observed a man lying prone inside a restroom stall. Finding the man unconscious, they forced open the stall and removed him for treatment. They discovered that the man was near death. He was suffering an asphyxiation episode and exhibited signs of an impending overdose.
