Say all you want about a hung jury in his criminal trial (let that sink in – his criminal trial) but is that what you want as your senator “indicted but only almost convicted?” And let’s not forget that the biggest ol’ Boys club in the history of western civilization actually censured one of their own in a bi-partisan basis when they found his behavior indefensible. Let that sink in too: a whole bunch of democrat senators said “Bob, tone it down, you’re making us look bad and now we have no choice but to do something about it.” Vote for whoever you want but at least be honest with yourself that you’re voting for a party not a good person.

TRENTON NJ, A Union County, New Jersey, man was ordered today to pay $8.6 million in restitution and serve six months of home incarceration for launching a cyber-attack on the Rutgers University computer network, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.
Paras Jha, 22, of Fanwood, New Jersey, previously pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Michael Shipp to violating the Computer Fraud & Abuse Act. Judge Shipp imposed the sentence today in Trenton federal court.

Rutherford NJ, The Borough of Rutherford kicked off a month-long Street Smart NJ campaign on Monday, October 22, to raise awareness of pedestrian safety ahead of Halloween, when thousands of children will take to the streets to trick-or-treat.
The campaign is a collaborative effort between Borough officials, EZ Ride Transportation Management Association and the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA), which coordinates the Street Smart NJ program. Local police will be enforcing pedestrian-related laws in Rutherford and working with Borough officials and the school district to educate everyone about safe driving and walking practices.

Teaneck NJ, A Bergen County, New Jersey, man who served as a trustee of a pension fund was charged with embezzling more than $180,000 from an employee benefit fund, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced today.
Howard Preschel, 62, of Teaneck, New Jersey, is charged by complaint with one count of embezzlement from an employee benefit plan and one count of failure to file an annual report. He made his initial appearance today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael A. Hammer in Newark federal court and was released on $100,000 unsecured bond.

Hackensack NJ, ever since the Democrat sheriff of Bergen County, N.J., and four of his senior officers resigned , one day after a recording surfaced of the sheriff making virulently racist comments to his staff. Sheriff Michael Saudino could be heard bad-mouthing African Americans, the state’s Sikh attorney general, and Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver in comments recorded in January. The recording, which documented Saudino grousing about Gov. Murphy’s inauguration speech, was released Thursday by WNYC.
