Trenton NJ, well its and election years. New Jersey officials are considering slowing down a plan to raise toll prices once more. Toll increases for the Turnpike and Garden State Parkway are scheduled to take effect next year, but both Democrats and Republicans are expressing opposition. Just as Halloween approaches, New Jersey drivers are facing another fright, as the Turnpike Authority, responsible for overseeing the Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway, recently approved a 3% toll price increase.

NJ State Police Try to Dispel the Rumor of “Summer Ticket Blitz “

Trenton NJ, Colonel Patrick J. Callahan of the New Jersey State Police was featured on News 12 to dispel the rumor that a ticket blitz by the State Police would occur where fines for summons would be increased. Although Colonel Callahan confirmed that this is fictitious, he did reaffirm that troopers are always on patrol 24/7 enforcing traffic violations. New Jersey State Police want to remind everyone to obey traffic laws and to drive safely.
