Paramus NJ, two (2) non life threatening injuries were reported following a early Saturday afternoon, 01/14, collision between a dump truck and an SUV at the intersection of East Ridgewood Avenue and Forest Avenue in Paramus. Following impact, the dump truck careened off the roadway onto the front lawn of a nearby single family home. Separate ambulances transported the victims to a local hospital. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by a pair of flatbed tow trucks. Paramus Police Department, Paramus Fire Department, and Paramus EMS personnel and equipment responded to the incident.

Bob was a security officer at Westfield Garden State Plaza for over 30 years. He was a good friend and colleague to the Paramus Police Department and all of Paramus’ First Responders. Paramus NJ, a multi-vehicle rollover crash with entrapment snarled morning rush hour traffic at the intersection of Paramus Road and West Grove Street, Paramus on Tuesday, 11/08. One (1) driver was extricated from his vehicle by Ridgewood firefighters and transported, with non-life threatening injuries, to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus by a Paramus EMS ambulance. All other reported injuries were minor in nature and those victims refused medical aid. At least two (2) vehicles were removed from the scene by tow trucks. A Glen Rock Police unmarked SUV sustained minor damage in the mishap.

Paramus NJ, the Paramus Police Department is investigating a property damage and attempted theft incident that occurred at the Paramus VFW building overnight. Unknown person(s) cut down the flag pole which had the American and POW flags flying on it. VFW members Sonny Schuler and Skip Cherven secured the flags in proper manner after the damage was found. Paramus NJ, One (1) individual was transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital following a multiple vehicle collision at the intersection of Paramus Road and West Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus on Friday afternoon, 06/24. Two (2) vehicles were towed from the scene. , Paramus Fire Department, Paramus EMS, and a paramedic team from The Valley Hospital responded to aid the victim.

Paramus NJ, Stew Leonard’s held their 3rd Annual Turkey Brigade. Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco joined Stew and his incredible team, with the help of Paramus Mayor Richard LaBarbiera and the Paramus Police Department, in the distribution of over 350 turkeys to various organizations throughout Bergen County. The goal of the event is to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need. Stew’s generosity is truly commendable and the County of Bergen is grateful for his commitment to our community.
