Park Ridge, NJ — The Park Ridge Police Department (PRPD) has been cracking down on a growing problem: illegal electric motorcycles and e-bikes being ridden on local roadways. Over the past several weeks, officers have spotted and impounded multiple unregistered electric cycles, with the department joking that its garage is starting to look like a used motorcycle dealership.

Park Ridge NJ, On Sunday, August 25th at approximately 4:55pm, Officers Dutcher and Vradenburg responded to a call of an unresponsive 4-year old. Park Ridge Police Department officers along with members of our tremendous Tri-Boro Ambulance Corps. were able to provide emergency medical care to the child and get them to the hospital quickly for advanced care.

Park Ridge NJ, on March 13, 2021, at approximately 1:45 p.m. the Park Ridge Fire Department was dispatched to 1 Sony Drive, for a reported fire. A passerby called Northwest Bergen Central Dispatch and reported seeing flames and smoke coming from the vacant office building. The Park Ridge Police Department arrived and confirmed that there was a fire in the building and that there were workers on scene preparing the building for demolition.

Park Ridge NJ, a Starbucks employee in Park Ridge was charged Monday with spitting in cops’ drinks, according to the Park Ridge Police Department. Kevin Trejo, 21, of Westwood was arrested for subjecting a law enforcement officer to bodily fluid, purposely tampering with a law enforcement officer’s drink and creating a hazardous environment.
