Nope let’s Keep Throwing Stones

01 1

Oh for God’s sake. Yes, the two made horrible decisions for Ridgewood. They virtually ruined Ridgewood, but read John Updike. Adultery in the suburbs is as common as fast food joints. Yes, it’s wrong, but sometimes the adulterers, find a new love and divorce their original spouses and remarry or live together forever.

I think having sex before marriage is wrong too; it used to be thought that way. Let’s not keep throwing stones at these two people for reasons of adultery.

Reader says mid block crosswalks are dangerous

New crosswalk warning devices installed on Linwood Avenue

file photo by Boyd Loving

Based on this important Study ..mid block crosswalks like the one in front of the driveway at Kings and the Library should be removed until a mid block permanent pedestrian triggered red light signal
is installed.

Dark hours and dusk are where danger increases as well as fog and rainy conditions .Children and elders are also particularly at risk at this mid block cross walk.

Police largely ignore this dangerous condition outside their own building partly because they are in seated in patrol cars rather than on foot .A crossing guard in the meantime is needed there for dark winter period.

Ridgewood NJ, readers debated the value of Surveillance of “Public Space” In Ridgewood after the latest hit and run driver in Ridgewood was arrested .

I never understand the anti-surveillance stance of people. It is surveillance of public space. What is the difference between a camera and a cop? The ONLY difference is the camera works 24/7, is not prone to bias, and doesn’t take sick days.

I wish we had MORE cameras. All over town. I am not doing anything wrong so I am not worried. Those who fight against the cameras have something to hide.

And the people screamed NO when David Bolger wanted to fund the purchase and installation of CCTV cameras throughout the Central Business District.

No one wants to live in Bolgerville….don’t want anything from him.

19146041 1785089598471391 8408874297655847640 n1

Friends,
The Good Life Ridgewood Planning Committee is happy to announce the fourth annual Good Life Ridgewood – The Mayor’s Wellness Festival Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 11am to 3pm in Memorial Park in Van Neste Square,. Every year, we work to elevate Ridgewood as a destination for healthy living and wellness. Last year was a rousing success with an estimated 1400+ visitors!

Unique in Ridgewood and the first of its kind in Bergen County, this festival brings residents, visitors, businesses, and professionals together to show off what our community has to offer: social services, health lifestyle businesses, healthy places for kids, mental health services, alternative medicine, local medical/dental specialists, nutritionists, and much, much more. Through the Good Life Ridgewood Festival, local businesses connect with residents to foster long-lasting relationships, while energizing and empowering our community.
Good Life Ridgewood is self-funding—meaning no Village funds are spent to bring this exciting event to our town. In fact, any profits from these events will be put towards capitol projects promoting health and wellness in the Village of Ridgewood.
