The Ridgewood Singers invite you to their spring concert, “Nature Sings,” on May 6. Songs play with aspects of how nature exhibits herself in spring, through water, sky, and that perennial favorite ‘spring fever.’ So, let me “Colour My World” (and hopefully, yours) by weaving a few of our song titles into this invitation, as follows:
For instance, come out of your “Castle on a Cloud” so you can be “Flying Free” while you “Follow Rain and Rivers” to our concert! Our “Serenade to Spring” is in the afternoon, after “Morning Has Broken” and any churchgoers have been “Down to the River to Pray.”
You’ll hear music of the Beatles, Sondheim, Simon and Garfunkel, Cat Stevens, and more… composing a nice variety of light pieces about nature, moonlight…. and (Everything’s Coming Up) roses.
This uplifting spring concert,
