Paramus NJ, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey and the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division today filed a complaint against the state of New Jersey and joined with the state in filing a proposed consent decree to address findings of unconstitutional conditions at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Homes at Menlo Park and Paramus.

Governor Murphy Again Puts Politics Over Quality of Life at NJ’s Veterans Homes

Trenton NJ, Senator Joe Pennacchio and Senator Kristin Corrado today questioned Murphy’s selections of new leadership at the veterans home in Menlo Park.

“The Governor’s bold idea for new leadership to fix our veterans homes is to bring back those who failed the first time around,” said Pennacchio (R-26).  “I can’t believe that’s the best he could do.”
