OSHA Investigating Fatal Recycling Truck Crash in Tenafly

Tenafly NJ, a fatal accident occurred on Monday in Tenafly involving a semi-truck and a garbage truck, resulting in the tragic loss of one life. The incident took place at 228 County Road and involved vehicles from Regional Industries LLC, a solid waste and recycling company based in Elizabeth, and ABC Towing from Fort Lee.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has launched an investigation into the accident. According to an OSHA spokesperson, the agency has up to six months to thoroughly investigate the cause of the crash and release its findings.

Authorities have yet to identify the victim, and both the Tenafly Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office have not responded to requests for further information.
