Outreach Series Continues : social pressures and challenges that impact boys and girls

for Parents and Guardians in January

Ridgewood NJ, The next program is on January 13, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. at Benjamin Franklin Middle School Auditorium: Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and Gender Issues, a panel discussion with Jamie Ciofalo, M.A., (Owner/Founder – Power Educational Consultants, LLC), Maggie DiPasquale (Founder – Modern Mentor Program, Emme Endeavors, LLC), Kate MacHugh, MSW (Expert on Girl Bullying, Author, and Professional Speaker) and Andrew Yeager, Certified School Psychologist (Founding Member/Coordinator – Bergen County Association of Student Assistance Professionals).

The panelists will address the social pressures and challenges that impact boys and girls, to help parents distinguish between problematic and “normal” teen behavior. This program, co-hosted with the Ridgewood Public Library, will be held in the Benjamin Franklin Middle School Auditorium.

Please join the Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Department for the 2014-2015 series of evening presentations focusing on current education topics.  All programs run from 7-9 p.m.
