Rutherford NJ, an overturned tractor-trailer on Route 17 in Rutherford led to significant traffic disruptions and lane closures on Tuesday afternoon, according to Rutherford Police Department and 511NJ. Both exit ramps from Rt. 17 South and Rt. 17 North that lead to Rt. 3 East were closed for approximately 3 to 5 hours due to a Motor Vehicle crash.

Truck Driver Unharmed, Cleanup Underway

According to Rutherford Police Lt. Kevin Scannell, the driver of the overturned truck sustained no serious injuries and did not require medical attention. The crash involved only one vehicle, which slipped and overturned while veering on the ramp. Rutherford Fire Department was on scene .
