Glen Rock NJ, a wet and hectic Thursday afternoon (10/30/2025) commute in Glen Rock, New Jersey, was disrupted by a significant two-vehicle crash involving a Glen Rock Board of Education school bus and a Jeep Compass.

The collision occurred at the busy intersection of Highland Road and Rock Road, right as a heavy rainstorm swept through the area. Emergency services quickly descended on the scene to manage the situation and investigate the cause of the accident.

The incident, which occurred early Wednesday morning, 10/29, saw a large dump truck, heading downhill, lose control and crash after the driver failed to stop the vehicle. Despite clear posted signs prohibiting heavy vehicles from using the road, the truck proceeded, leading to the calamity.

Palisades Park Police Department Reclaims Internal Affairs Amid Conspiracy and Whistleblower Allegations

PALISADES PARK, NJ – The Palisades Park Police Department (PPPD) has officially regained authority over its Internal Affairs (IA) functions, a major turning point after the unit was taken over by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office (BCPO) back in March.

The BCPO confirmed on October 27th that it had returned full control of the IA workflow to the local department, signaling what town officials are calling a significant restoration of confidence in the PPPD’s leadership and ongoing reform efforts.
