Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Crew displayed its flexibility, determination, and perseverance at the annual Head of the Passaic Regatta (HOPR) in Lyndhurst, NJ, this past weekend, overcoming a last-minute date change and an, at times, highly challenging race course to score five victories and 10 overall podium finishes.

The first thing to notice is that the source for the article is Howard Zinn, who was not a primary historical source, but a history revisionist of the 20th century. Zinn’s arguments have gained popularity lately due to his connections with Hollywood celebrities and many mainstream media outlets before he died.
When it comes to Columbus, Zinn had the bad habit of putting two or more sentences together that have nothing to do with each other, to make it say whatever he wanted you to think it says. That’s what he did for ALL the claims below. So let’s take a closer look at his arguments and then debunk them.

The parish has been selected by the Archdiocese of Newark to receive the inaugural St. Carlo Acutis Award, recognizing their exceptional dedication to youth ministry and Catholic evangelization.
Ridgewood NJ, Village Manager Keith Kazmark announces “his Truth” on Facebook in a new post ,”The Manager’s Fact Check Friday”. Kazmark rattles off a series of issues impacting the Village and attempts to shed light on the Village’s current position. When the Village had vigorous public debate on issues this type of thing would not be necessary, but over the last 20 plus years public debate has been severely curtailed.
The Village Manager feels the councils point of view needs to be disseminated and reiterated on social media.
Ridgewood NJ, in observance of Columbus Day, all Village offices and departments (except emergency services) will be closed on Monday, October 13. There will be no garbage collection or recycling pickup, and the Recycling Center also will be closed. Enjoy the long weekend!
