Ridgewood NJ , a late-night collision on East Ridgewood Avenue ended with no injuries but significant vehicle damage and multiple citations, Ridgewood police said. The incident, which occurred around 11:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12, involved a black Honda CR-V and a dark blue BMW X3.

West Windsor NJ, Ridgewood Crew set a new high-water mark for the 21-year-old program this past weekend at the 2025 Mid-Atlantic Youth Championships, as a record-high eight boats and 19 rowers earned automatic bids for the USRowing Youth National Championships, to be held in Sarasota, Florida next month. The Mid-Atlantic regatta is one of 12 regional meets nationwide, and only the top four finalists in select races on Sunday qualified for Youth Nationals.

Pontillo and the members of the Westwood Police Department would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge the growing number of complaints regarding unsafe and disruptive behavior by juvenile bicyclists in our community. These complaints vary in nature but have been occurring in the Central Business District and surrounding areas.

We want to be clear: while we fully support outdoor activity and youth independence, that must be balanced with responsibility and public safety. Reckless riding, disregard for traffic laws, and obstruction of roadways place both the juveniles and the public at serious risk.

The partnership between Ridgewood Parks and Recreation, Ridgewood Police and EZ Ride . The partnership’s mission is to make it much safer for our young bicyclists in the community. Help was added with the Civic Youth Corps members volunteering for the morning as well.
