Paramus NJ, congratulations and best wishes to Paramus Police Sergeant Dean Avagnano on his retirement. Sgt. Avagnano who is mostly known for his for his career in the traffic division has also been a major participant in our community events. Always seen chaperoning our LEAD – Law Enforcement Against Drugs and Violence events and rescuing animals throughout his career. Over the years the Ridgewood blog has profiled Sgt. Avagnano during several animal rescues. Sgt. Avagnano has been a major part of our motor unit and has also installed hundreds of car seats for young parents in town. Thank you for your service Sgt.
