    1. Coffee tastes like water…

    2. Coffee tastes like water…owner didn’t react as I walked out of store. Nice first day

  2. Should last a year or less. Like everything in ridgewood. Ridiculously sized store and who’s going to chance parking near there to get bread. People literally don’t do any research before opening a business.

  4. Two thoughts/comments:

    1. How often are the community ‘tongs’ cleaned? I picked one up from the ‘fresh’ pile and it had pink icing all over the inside of the business-end of the tongs — I don’t want to think what might be on the handles.

    2. Some silverware would be nice. Coffee stirrers abound . . . but how is one to properly eat a pastry without silverware?

  5. The coffee in ridgewood sucks because the water tastes bad.

  6. Not interested in yet another franchise with whatever employees they can scrape up and underpay. Small, individually owned, one-of-a-kind places are always better and care more. Viva Sook!

  7. I have been to a couple of other ones and tried this one. High prices must be b/c of how nice it looks b/c it cannot be based on taste b/c there is none. Butter, sugar and air should not be $5 each. It will not last, especially over there.

    1. Don’t forget the cost of the parking ticket in the total cost of consumption

  8. The street parking sucks in ridgewood. The village is done for now.

  9. What’s going on with the old taxi? Stand on Broad Street and upstairs and downstairs is a shit show and it’s owned by the village why are most of the village owned buildings are formed through their ass. Yes Filtros nice, the new water department building is nice , the fire department is nice, everything else the buildings are pieces of shit. And why is a good majority of the village owned fleet filthy, how come they’re not being professionally cleaned on a daily basis. We are investing big tax money into these vehicles and really they’re not that clean, they should be immaculate. What is the excuse now. Because every time the subject is brought up, nothing but excuses. No money in the budget to hire people to clean the vehicles at night or weekends, or have a professional steam cleaning company come in and clean vehicles, or is that just too much. Because between the buildings and the fleet, it’s embarrassing.

  10. Pick up the litter under the train terminal, from broad st going west.
    What is up.
