Parking Lot Electronic Hucksters Strike Again in Glen Rock

Glen Rock NJ, according to Glen Rock Police on Wednesday August 4th at 6:12pm , a Hawthorne man reported he purchased $1,500 worth of electronics equipment from two men selling the equipment from their vehicle in the parking lot of the Prospect Stores on July 4th. The man later found he had been the victim of fraud having been sold fake equipment. According to the victim the actors were two white or Hispanic males.

Anyone who was approached by these two individuals is asked to contact the Glen Rock Police detective bureau at 201-670-3947 or 201-670-3948. Detectives are attempting to identify what make and model vehicle the actors were driving and approximately what times they were in the parking lot.

  1. Yeah, you always buy expensive gear from a tall, short, fat, thin man standing on a a street corner, or by a car with an open trunk, just like you always leave cash and jewelry in an unlocked car parked in a driveway overnight.

    Or you just happen to be from Ridgewood looking for an open liquor store in the 4th ward of Paterson at 2AM and you were unexpectedly robbed at gunpoint.
