Washingtonn Twp NJ, , Washington Township firefighters extricated two (2) adults and two (2) dogs from a heavily damaged 4-door sedan that had crashed head on into a guard rail before tumbling into a ditch on the Garden State Parkway’s Exit 168 northbound ramp. The human adult male and adult female victims were transported by ambulances to local hospitals.
The two (2) dogs were transported from the scene by Tyco Animal Control Services; one (1) of the dogs was reportedly injured in the crash. Unconfirmed reports are that the vehicle’s driver suffered a stroke moments before the crash. NJ State Police are handling the investigation. Washington Township Police, Washington Township EMS, and paramedic teams from The Valley Hospital and Holy Name Medical Center also responded to the Friday afternoon, 04/26, incident.
