Ridgewood NJ, Paul Vagianos’ has a letter in The Ridgewood News in which he supports BCIA involvement.
Attached is a clip from his comments at the 1/27/2016 VC meeting at which he repeatedly said “don’t go to the BCIA.”
When the letter is available on line tomorrow, can you run the letter along with the clip so people can see how he’s flip flopped, changed sides like a Gemini?
Thanks.

Paul Vagianos is as bad as the rest of them, switching sides to suit himself. He was so emphatic against the BCIA, now all of a sudden it is god’s gift. Yea, right, we believe you and we trust you. NOT!
Hey Paul, if you’re so bent on a garage, why aren’t you and your fellow CBD business owners helping to pay for it? The vote was never for a 400 space garage, and maybe the reason the CBD is struggling is because the rents are too high for anyone to make a living?
He specifically says all 5 need to compromise, the lot will draw commuters and it would be better for Ridgewood to bond ourselves. No2bcia.com Paul! Sign the petition.
If you read the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce’s ad in TRN, one of the big bullet points is that the bond would not count against Ridgewood’s bond rating. This is horrible for several reasons: 1) It’s similar to a child using their parent’s credit card. That lets the child run up more credit on their own. 2) The BCIA has a position of power over the Village’s decisions 3) The bonding through the BCIA is a political nod to Aronsohn’s Democrat buddies for future personal political advancement. 4) The actual cost to own the building outright is significantly higher. This deal stinks to the high heavens. Mr. Vagianos, please go back to being a restaurateur and serve all the people – not just the ones who’ll build you a garage a block from your business.
To all on this thread…sign the petition and get the question on the ballot. Let the people decide which way to fund. What are the petition opposers afraid of?
