  1. Route 17 is a speedway . Huge super cube 53 foot trailers can neither stop or slow down easily if you want to overtake them as you enter route 17 speedway.

Northbound they are flying by to get up to the NY THRUWAY ENTRY and not yielding to them could cost you and your Family your life. Giuseppe Markets sales trips not worth your lives if you challlenge those 53 foot long super trailers doing 75 to 80 MPH

    1. True. I see this all the time and I take my time when merging into 17 N and stay on the right or middle lane the whole time.

    2. Imagine this happening during a ball game at Schedler. Council members, THINK!!

  2. Sure makes you question the “wisdom” of a ball field adjacent to Rt 17

  3. Good thing nobody was playing catch there.

  4. Hopefully the trucks will be stopped by the berm. But what will stop smaller children accompanying families to the games from crawling up the berm and then falling onto Rt 17N into the path of vehicles? That itty bitty, decorative, so easy to climb fence the historians so thoughtfully spent their money on? Somehow I don’t think so!
