Do you want to bet that the young child you love will not have the values you worked hard to instill undermined or subverted? Me neither.
I became concerned about the threat of brainwashing and indoctrination while teaching in Shanghai, China and New York City. I tried to get 11 and 12 year old children to think independently, but found it difficult to reverse years of thought control.
When I had a child of my own I wanted to do something to help protect and defend her from the many dangerous ideas she would encounter. I produced a book with a series of affirmations and images promoting free thought and well being. I read it to her from the time she was one. I made the cover visible to her from her book shelf to further imprint the message. “I Am Free To Learn.”

TURN OFF THE TV
We live in a consumer-based economy. All TV/internet programming is tailored for consumers. Yet we – as successful parents – know that it’s producers who are valued by the society. Not consumers. Consumers are valued only while they spend $.
Parents therefore can’t delegate raising their kids to the media. You’ll end up with immoral, entitled, useless fools who will hustle you to pay 6 figures for a college degree in social justice. And pay for a Williamsburg flat after graduation. And if you kid is particularly useless, they’ll join BLM and lynch you for your white privilege after your 401k can no longer support said flat.
But don’t touch my MTV.
Generation Z is not watching TV. They are on their iphones and ipads entering echo chambers on social media.
