With part of N Monroe closed yesterday afternoon, cars were detoured to Heights Rd. via Woodland Rd. I could not believe the speed at which these diverted cars were traveling on these roads with kids on scooters, people walking dogs, etc. It is possible they were going 25 mph, however 25 feels fast when dodging parked landscaping vehicles and pedestrians trying to cross the street. I wish there was an officer monitoring speed, this feels like a disaster waiting to happen. People need to slow down.
Just brutal….they still haven’t paved North Pleasant from last year’s destruction to the road.
Thanks for the update.
No word on this from village hall that should be notifying residents via email blast.
Thanks to the Blog for picking up the slack from the Village Hall
Yup…town hall should do the same when a bear runs through our back yards too.
And when they finish are they going to repave? or just patch it up creating more crummy pot holes in the roads
