Ridgewood NJ, forest fires in California last summer were prima facie evidence of global warming, climate change ,global cooling and so on , but the polar vortex that has swept through the entire center of the country from Texas to the Dakotas bringing near-century low frigid temperatures doesn’t mean the opposite?

This is an obvious problem for the doomsayer green groups, so they now argue that extremely cold weather is also proof of global warming.

The New York Times last month quoted a NOAA scientist who admitted: “There is no indication of a long-term trend” in polar vortex events. The vortex patterns “occur naturally even in the absence of climate change.”

But that wouldn’t do. So the Times got this incredible quote from the Woodwell (formerly Woods Hole) Center: “We’re changing the planet in such dramatic and incontrovertible ways… So there must be some connections that are yet to be discovered as we do more research on the stratospheric polar vortex.”

Frankly we will stick to the groundhog Punxsutawney Phil who, predicted 6 more weeks of winter .

Climate change is now an irrefutable proposition. If it is hot; it is climate change. If it is frigid; it is climate change. If it a drought, it’s climate change; it is a blizzard or a monsoon, it’s climate change. We used to call it weather  but ‘now its sounds like a religion .

  2. Since Global Warming is a scam, any conditions can be used to prove its existence.

Clap your hands if you believe…

  3. The groundhog has better instincts than today’s so called climate scientists!
