Ramapough Lenape Cut Ribbon on New and Improved Community Center in Mahwah

Mahwah NJ, Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco joined the Ramapough Lenape in Mahwah at the ribbon cutting for the improved Ramapough Lenape Community Center. This newly renovated center will continue to serve the great Ramapough Lenape community, and serves as a reminder of the people that inhabited these lands for thousands of years before us.

Improvements include accessible bathrooms, office spaces with the carpets and LED lighting, new flooring, enhanced security measures, new landscaping, and new kitchen counters and cabinets.
