Ramsey NJ, on Saturday night, October 12, around 9:30 pm, Ramsey’s dedicated volunteer firefighters responded to a serious structure fire at 4 Carriage Lane. Upon arrival, the crews were met with intense flames engulfing the first and second floors, as well as the attic. The fire’s severity prompted a second alarm, soon escalating to a three-alarm call, bringing in multiple neighboring fire departments to assist.
The 911 call had alerted authorities to the rapidly spreading fire, and firefighters from across the region worked tirelessly for approximately four hours to contain the blaze. Their relentless efforts, along with the swift response from mutual aid, were crucial in extinguishing the fire and preventing further damage to surrounding properties.
