Ramsey NJ, on Wednesday evening, November 13, the Ramsey Fire Department responded swiftly to a truck fire that spread to nearby brush on Lake Street. The blaze was reported around 6:00 PM, and Engine 431 was first to arrive on the scene, with Engines 432 and 433 close behind.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the truck fully engulfed in flames with the fire beginning to spread to the nearby brush. Thanks to their quick response, firefighters had the blaze under control within minutes, preventing further spread and potential damage.
The department’s crews operated at the scene for approximately one hour, ensuring all hot spots were fully extinguished before returning to service.
