The Jurgen letter defies belief. This pathetic peasant has chosen to attack Ridgewood’s Catholic church and a scholarship committee in town with his false allegations of bribery. Where do the two candidates that he supports stand? Are Harwin and Willet going to disavow this miscreant? Or are they content to let his lies stand, so long as those lies arn’t directed to them?
History is full of people who turned the other way and pretended not to notice falsehoods when it suited them at the moment. Falsehoods that then spread and grew like a cancer in the fabric of society. We will just have to see what sort of people Willet and Harwin really are.

Harwin holds herself out as a defender of the downtrodden, yet sits idly by as one of her supporters implies that a church in town bribed Harwin’s opponent for Village council? Seems to me she might only be a “breath of fresh air” to those without any olfactory sense.
Yes, it is tough to break with your supporters in town, but that’s what a person of character needs to do once she discovers they have taken actions in your name that are offensive to people’s religion and charities – – and don’t claim to be a tough attorney from a tough lawfirm if you dont have the wherewithall to support your claim.

This is really serious, and perhaps its a reflection of our crazy world that no one is calling this for what it is – – a blatant and ugly attack on a religious group and a charity. One can’t just hurl allegations in the air without thinking them through.
This should be no big deal for the candidate – – she can put out a statement disavowing the author of the letter and those of her followers who transmitted the letter to others or had anything to do with the letter, and she can tell them in clear and unmistaken terms that she does not want their support or their vote. But the longer she lets this sit, the longer that it festers, then its clear she is hoping to cash in on the attack, and she shoudl be called to task for that.

If its true they are stalking people, acting inappropriate, etc., then we should all politely ask them to leave town as soon as possible. And what do people mean by stalking? its perfectly legit to troll websites, go to opposition coffees, and otherwise do your due dilgence on your opposition. There is NO comparison between what happened to Mike four years ago thanks to the Aronsohn crowd and notifying Harwin’s employer about this. I sincerely doubt that they know about it already, as someone observes above. Who wants to send an email containing the Lehmann email and a picture of both sides of the postcard to the board of her legal firm? Why not? It’s merely forwarding actual materials, not smearing somebody or lying to their boss. Let her be forced to explain or even better, lose her job. She has earned it.
Have not seen this but have heard that Aronsohn’s lawn sports a couple of Harwin signs but nothing for Willett. Has she fallen from his graces? Even if all they’re looking for is to divert a few votes, his not supporting her looks odd.
